GURILE Lora Evelyn Emswiler Gurile. A graveside funeral service, celebrating the life of Lora Evelyn Emswiler Gurile, 86, of Pataskala, will be held Monday, August 30, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the Glen Rest Memorial Estates, Reynoldsburg. Evelyn died Wednesday, August 25, 2010, following an extended illness. She was born September 1, 1923 in Columbus, to George B. and Vera A. (Green) Emswiler. She was a graduate of Etna High School, and worked for many years as a secretary for the State of Ohio and Nationwide Insurance. She was also a member of the Etna United Methodist Church. She is survived by her loving family: her step-son, Phil (Priscilla) Gurile of Pataskala; her two granddaughters, Michelle and Melissa; and her extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John W. Gurile in 1994 and her brother Lewis Emswiler in 1980.
