The years flow quickly and now it is a year since we lost dear father. I still miss him so. I would just like to talk with him about his life and what it meant to all of us. I hope you can hear me Pop. I love you so.

I will miss my father very much. I was planning on playing dominoes with him for another 20 years. He set a great example for me to follow. I will try harder to follow that example. I know he sits with the Lord now, and I am comforted. God bless you dad. Thanks for everything. I love you. Your #1 son.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
