Lorna J. "Susie" Clark-Jacobs

Clark-Jacobs Lorna J. "Susie" Clark-Jacobs, age 71, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Heartland of Dublin. Born November 20, 1944 in Huntington, WV. Member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, where she was the leader of the MAXI group, played Dulcimer in the string quartet, and member of the Bell Choir and the Fellowship team. Retired from Columbus Public Schools. Graduate of Marshall University with a degree in education, where she was active in the Delta Zeta Sorority. Susie recently received the Order of the Rose from Delta Zeta for 50 years of membership at Marshall University. Lifetime member of the Marshall Alumni Association. She received her Masters degree in education from The Ohio State University, where she is also a lifetime member of the Alumni Association. Member of the Kelton House, where she enjoyed the teas and fellowship. Avid Barbara Streisand fan. Preceded in death by infant brother Loren, Jr. and parents Loren and Rella Clark. Survived by husband of 33 years, Dave; and brothers, Dr. Armin "Sam" Clark and Jack E. (Sandra) Clark. Friends may call at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 1735 Bethel Rd., 9:30-10:45 a.m. Monday, October 24, 2016, where service will follow at 11 a.m. Dr. Jerry Kasberg and Dr. Bob Bowers, officiating. Interment Culloden Cemetery, Culloden, WV, Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions if desired may be made to Bethel Presbyterian Church.
