MONROE Louis Simon Monroe, age 73, of New Orleans, LA, went home to the Lord Friday, March 31, 2006 in Columbus, OH. Predeceased by his wife Doris Monroe, parents Frank and Ruth Monroe, and brother Jesse Monroe. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Lorna K. Monroe, of New Orleans, LA; sister, Doris Warren of New Orleans, LA/Columbus, OH; brothers, Robert, of MS, Effort (Doris), Walter (Deanna), and Alvin (Jackie), all of Columbus; God-child, Christina Adams; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service and interment Saturday, April 8, 2006 in New Orleans, LA. Local arrangements entrusted to DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long St.
