Lynn was a dear friend who was for several years, my walking buddy in five points. We would walk for miles, talking, laughing, sharing life's common problems with being a single Mom during that time. I think we both looked forward to those walks that we took after dinner. We often pulled each other out when the other did not want to walk but we both were always glad we did. Such fond memories! Lynn was one of the most down-to-earth, sincere people that I knew in Athens and she deeply inspired many others in our community, as well as myself. Our children were also good friends,as well, Molly with Clay,Jr and Wes and Chad with Jenny. I hope this thought gives you a measure of comfort. Although a precious one from us has gone, we do not lose the one's we love - they just go before, where there is evrlasting life and sorrow is no more. There the soul will always rest and peace is everywhere. We do not lose the ones we love for God takes them in his care. May God Bless your family and give you his peace. Leanna Hogan Dawson
