It's been 16 days and although I keep expecting tomorrow to feel better or for it to feel real, it hasn't and I only find each day more difficult. It's hard for me to wrap my mind around the fact that I'll never hear your voice again, see your smile, watch you laugh, or hold you in an embrace. I'll
Never get to watch you walk down the isle on your wedding day. I'll never get to hear you call me mom again. I don't know if it's even possible for me to be the same person in this world without you. Although you left me with so many memories to bring my heart happiness, knowing we will make no more together leaves me feeling like I can't breathe or even want to try to enjoy today...as much as I'm trying to live part of me feels like it died with you.

We, the families of The Compassionate Friends, send you our heartfelt condolences. The Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family. We meet monthly in Columbus from 7-9 PM on the second Tuesday of each month at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1479 Morse Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229. If and when you are ready to do so, please join us. We need Not Walk Along. We are The Compassionate Friends.
