Madison Cross Obituary

Cross, Madison
Madison Victoria Cross, age 22, of Westerville died unexpectedly Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Banner Del E Webb Medical Center in Sun City West, Arizona. She was born on December 27, 1994 in Columbus, Ohio the daughter of Bobbie R. (Jordan) Moussa and Kevin E. Cross. Madison was a 2013 graduate attending her junior and senior years at Highland HS in Sparta and attended New Albany Schools prior to then. Madison loved to sing and her artistic creativity was astonishing. She always sang with the voice of an angel sitting for hours playing her acoustic guitar singing or with the piano, which she had taught herself to play. Madison had a huge heart, a love for everyone regardless of past, present, or future, and both a laugh and a smile that would light up any room. She loved to make people laugh with her amazing sense of humor as well as a tender heart to help others with words or kindness or just a simple embrace. She herself struggled the past several years, however that did not ever stop her from wanting to help and encourage others she met along the way. She loved everyone, forgave easily, and only wanted the best for those who touched her life. So many friends have shared heartwarming stories of Madison's heart and love, which we wish to be her legacy. She will be greatly missed by her sweet daughter Kinsley who will be 3 years old in December; her mom Bobbie and step-dad Mike Moussa of Galena; her dad Kevin and step-mom Kristal Cross of Westerville; siblings Reagan, Zachary, Evan, Luka, and Ellouise; grandparents Vickie and John Chilcote of Westerville, Frank and Becky Cross of Hillard, Renee and Chris Yarman of Pickerington; uncles and aunts Darren and Jen Cross, Ryan and Veronica Cross, Debbie and Bob McBride, Destiny and Jeremy Burke; cousins Robby and Annette McBride, Leslie McBride, Lindsey Fish, and many many more aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and loved ones. A Celebration of Madison's life will take place on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 1 PM at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 637 North State Route 61, Sunbury, Ohio 43074. Burial will follow at East Liberty Cemetery in Sunbury. Friends may call on the family from 10 AM until the time of the service. It's been 16 days and although I keep expecting tomorrow to feel better or for it to feel real, it hasn't and I only find each day more difficult. It's hard for me to wrap my mind around the fact that I'll never hear your voice again, see your smile, watch you laugh, or hold you in an embrace. I'll
Never get to watch you walk down the isle on your wedding day. I'll never get to hear you call me mom again. I don't know if it's even possible for me to be the same person in this world without you. Although you left me with so many memories to bring my heart happiness, knowing we will make no more together leaves me feeling like I can't breathe or even want to try to enjoy today...as much as I'm trying to live part of me feels like it died with you.

Madison Victoria Cross...your mommy misses you SOOOOOOO MUCH!!!! Xoxoxoxoxo
