Margie Clarice Greuel

Greuel Margie Clarice Greuel, age 82, of Gahanna, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2013. Margie was born and raised in Martin, Ohio, daughter of the late Clarence and Lillian Bringe. Also preceded in death by her beloved husband Melvin Greuel, son-in-law Jack Stewart, and siblings Elizabeth Witt, Marvel Johnson, Leila Reeder, and Fred Bringe. Margie was a very kind and gentle woman who knew exactly what was important in life. She was a loving wife and mother and the foundation of her family. She served as a nurturer and an inspiration to many. Margie was a spiritual woman who was a longtime member of Peace Lutheran Church. Her influence and love ran deep, like the roots of the strongest tree, and will be felt now in the warmth of the sun. She will be greatly missed by her loving daughters, Lynn Stewart, Gail Greuel and Melanie (David) Barnette; granddaughters, Tracy (Jason) Nave and Shannon Barnette; great-granddaughter, Audrey Nave; siblings, Marion Rudes and Becky (Richard) Jensen; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Peace Lutheran Church, 455 Clark State Rd. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. Pastor Douglas Warburton, officiating. Interment Mifflin Township Cemetery.
