Maria Teresa "Marisa" Ong

Ong Maria "Marisa" Teresa Ong, age 90, of Groveport, OH, died on December 23, 2014. She was born on July 30, 1924 in Ancona, Italy to the late Giuseppi and Ines Vacca. She was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Col. William Ong, brother Ernesto Vacca, and sister Anita Vacca. Survivors include her son, Jerry Joseph Ong; two grandchildren, David (Mary Scott) Ong and Jackie Ong; great-grandchildren, Mary Kenneth-Ong and Peter Ong; and close friends, Kay Firm and Holly (Scott) McGiffin. Friends and Family may visit St. Mary's Catholic Church, 5684 Groveport Rd., Groveport, OH 43125 on Saturday, January 3, from 10-11 a.m. with a funeral mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Richard Metzger to follow at 11 a.m. Burial at Betzer Cemetery. Arrangements by DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, Canal Winchester, OH.
