Marilyn Brune Obituary

Brune Marilyn Brune, 53, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, January 10, 2014. She is survived by her loving husband Joseph Brune of 23 years; parents, Henry and Betty Penner; brother, Mike Penner (Chrisi), and Mindy Penner. Friends may attend a memorial service at Berean Bible Church in Dublin, Ohio on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 2 p.m. Visitation directly after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the music fund at Heartland Baptist Church, 13680 Hinton Mill Rd, Marysville, OH 43040.

I have known Mae Mae since she started in the Department, and worked with her side-by-side in the main office. She was always helpful to anyone who came in--she was a talker! I can't tell you how much I am going to miss her; we always made plans to meet up for lunch or dinner, and the time never seemed to fit our schedules. I wish we had more time.... My heart is aching for you Joe; she was your truest love. May God comfort you and the Penner family, God bless you.

Marilyn, I can't tell you how much you are going to be missed. My wife, Kristen, is your dear friend and fellow employee at the Lab School. I only had the privilege to meet you a couple of times, but I immediately knew why my wife loved you as person. You kindness and joy was contagious just from the few times we met. Kristen always tells me how our daughter Reagan loved seeing you in the mornings when they got to work. You touched lives young and old will be truly missed.
