Marilyn Gussett Obituary

GUSSETT Marilyn R. Gussett, age 75, formerly of Pickerington and Canton, died February 22, 2008, in Winter Haven, FL, where she has resided for the past 20 years after retiring from JC Penney. Marilyn was a loving, giving and dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a good friend to many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Bob. She is survived by sons, Bill (Deb) Gussett of Barnesville, Dale Gussett (partner Larry Williamson) of Columbus; daughter, Gayle (Patrick) Seymour of Pickerington; grandchildren, Molly (Pat) Kaplet of Barnesville, Brian and Greg Seymour of Canal Winchester; great-grandchildren, Kinzie and Karter Kaplet; sisters, Carol French of Port St. Lucie, FL, Sherry (Pat) Herlehy of West Jefferson, NC ; special friend and companion, Jim Carland of Winter Haven, FL. In honoring her wishes, no service was held and cremation took place. "Today and always our love and thanks we send, to you our mother and our friend." Please accept our deepest sympathies. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.I worked with Marilyn in the Accounting department at the J.C. Penny company for several years before her retirement. We were all very fond of her, and she will be greatly missed.
