Mark Johnson Obituary

Johnson Mark A. Johnson, 53, of London, formerly of Columbus, passed away unexpectedly in his residence on Saturday, December 28, 2013. Mark was born in Dayton, OH, on April 27, 1960, a son of Charles W. and Allene (Brookshire) Johnson. He was a 1978 honors graduate of National Trail High School, New Paris, OH, and had attended Indiana University (Richmond Campus) Bloomington, IN, and Columbus State Community College. Mark was a longtime bartender personality in downtown Columbus and German Village club circles for many years. He had also worked in New Orleans, LA and Orlando, FL. He was an avid OSU Football and Cincinnati Bengals fan. He is survived by a son, two grandchildren, one brother and one sister, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister. There will be no visitation or calling hours observed. Interment of cremains will be conducted at Preble Memory Gardens, West Alexandria, OH. The family is served by the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME, London, OH.

To the family of Mark, I am so sorry for your loss. I have knows mark for the better part of 30 years. He always brought joy and fun to whom ever he was with. Mark was a staple in the clubs in Columbus and had a great following of friends. He will be Missed!
