Hood Family -

I am so sorry to hear of your loss and want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I was so young when I knew your family but you were a family that everyone knew. My grandma was Joanne Craft and I lived with her for years on Patterson Avenue. Those were the best years of my life. I am so grateful that my Holy Name family is still intact and that we all care about each other to make the others aware of its members.

God Bless you all and I will say a prayer for all of you. God Bless.

Marty, Just talked to you last month and am shocked of what happened. We were best friends and worked together for two or more years at Sewers and Drains before you transfered to traffic. God be with you and your Family!! You will always be with me when ever I go to a Nascar race which we went to in Michigan and had a great time!! You will be missed! If anyone would like to email me and let me know how Marty passed , it would be appricated. Love you BROTHER JOHN

For the better part of my growing years, Hood's house was my second home. We grow up. We grow apart. We may not see each other for years and years, but you always felt like someday you could go home again.

Marty, I will miss you. My family and I send our deepest sympathy for the terrible loss to your family. Our prayers are with you.

Marty you will be missed, You were one of my best friends at school. Even though after Holy Name, we lost touch, whenever I think back to my days at Holy Name I always remember you and your goofy smile. I will miss you my friend.

Time passes so fast. I remember all of us dirty little kids playing all over the place. Now some of us are grown and gone.Well all of us are grown but some of us have dirty little kids & grandkids playing all over the place. The younger boys I didn't know as well but they were still family. I am very sorry about Marty, I didn't get to see him & Pat while they were here.

We will not be able to attend the services but will keep you in our hearts.
