Mary Janice Oiler

Oiler Mary Janice (Roby) Oiler, age 69, of Marysville, passed away Sunday morning, November 9, 2014 at the OSU Wexner Medical Center. Born July 29, 1945 in Columbus. Member of the Plain City United Methodist Church. Retired School Bus Driver for the Jonathan Alder and Fairbanks Local School Districts, Past President and Director of the Ohio Amateur Quarterhorse Association for 25 years and active member of the Marysville Senior Citizens especially with the Line Dancing group. Preceded in death by father Hugh E. Roby, mother Ellen Mae (Page) Roby, infant son Carl Hugh Oiler - 1969, sisters-in-law Neva Jo (Boyer) Roby and Sarah Joanne Glass, aunt Myreda Bidwell. Survived by loving husband, Dale E. Oiler, whom she married September 14, 1966 in Plain City United Methodist Church; sons, Dale "Nick" Oiler of Marysville and Joseph R. (Jenny) Oiler of Plain City; grandson, Jacob Oiler; sister, Haila (George) Wuertz; brother, John G. (Linda Thompson) Roby; aunt Wauneda Petrich. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main Street, (St. Rte. 161W), Plain City, where the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 13, 2014 with Pastor Blaine Keene officiating and burial Forest Grove Cemetery.
