To the Wisse Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. As I am helping plan our 30th class reunion from Bishop Hartley I just found out about the loss of Mary. How saddened I am too as I was good friends with mary at St. Catharine's and Hartley also. I did just see the passing of her mother and I am so sorry for you and John , Mr. Wisse. Please know we will miss her and will have the mass that we have before our class reunion this summer in honor of our classmate Mary. God Blees you.

I was surprised and saddened to learn of the sudden loss of Mary. Mary and I were friends from about 1972 when I first came to St. Catharine School, until just about 10 years ago, when I unfortunately, lost touch with her. I was just going to mail her a sympathy card over the recent passing of her dear mother, Katie Wisse. You just never know... Mary, indeed, was a lot of fun; we were "partners in crime" for many, many years. She and I were "rebels without a cause" it seemed like forever! She later was a matron of honor in my wedding. In addition to her love of animals, she loved being a wife and homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and was quite a good one. She also loved playing cards and was an avid Superbowl fan, no matter who was playing. She will be missed. My condolences to all of the family. "Dad", I know this must be a very difficult time for you., especially. John, thank you for this nice obituary; I am so glad you mentioned her being raised in the Catholic faith. Thank you for having this written; I might have never known about her passing. God bless you all...Veronica
