My sincerest condolences to Matt's brothers and sisters, his family, and all his loved ones. As next-door neighbor, I only knew Matt as a kid. I remember lots of time spent playing with him and Laurrie. Hide-and-seek, kickball on the court, just hanging out and talking, etc. He was a great kid, and it seems from what I read here, a wonderful man. God bless and comfort you all as you grapple with Matt's loss.

I was so sorry to see that Matt had passed away. Even though we are cousins I don't think I've seen any of you in many, many years. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I worked with Matt at Campbell's. He had a tremendous sense of humor .He offered to switch sales areas with me as he knew I had a personal issue and making the change would benefit me. Ironically I was about to call him about getting together for golf. We are all saddened that he is gone.

I grew up with Matt. We recently connected on Facebook and talked about all our memories of growing up in Forest Park West. All of us kids(Johnny White, Eileen Murphy, Ann Marie Korzak..) we would all play together, so many memories. The funniest one was recently Matt told me how when they would play baseball in the field, if the ball went into my backyard they would pick who had to go get it- I had a St. Bernard back then...they were all afraid of her. No one ever just came to the front door and asked for help!! We will all miss you Matt.

Matt will be missed because he really cared about people. When I transferred to Cincinnati with Campbell's in the mid 90's Matt made me feel right at home - he made sure that I was included in every golfing and social event. Never heard him say anything negative about people - just a warm smile and usually some very funny stories.

Condolences to all of Matt's many family and friends. He always had a twinkle in his eye and a ready laugh to go along with his obvious zest for life, every time I saw him. He was a good man and made an impression, all those many years ago, playing football and other games in the streets and the fields with his relatives the Whites and Shevlins and so many others, some of whom he'll now see again, in the hereafter. May God bless his soul, and best regards to all who live to carry on his legacy.
