Maybelle Howard age 89, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. She was preceded in death by husband James O. Howard and son James M. Howard. Survived by daughter Cynthia (Gregory) Peterson of Lakewood, New York and son Robert B. (Valerie) Howard of Columbus, Ohio; 8 grandchildren 4 great grandchildren; sister Gerry Pierce of New Brighton, PA. Maybelle was an avid traveler and traveled around the world. She was a member of the SEVEN CONTINENTS CLUB. Now she is on her "best trip ever" a trip to Heaven to be with her Lord. Due to covid restrictions there will be a private family service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Unity Presbyterian Church in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Arrangements by EVANS FUNERAL HOME 4171 E. Livingston Ave. www.evansfuneralhome.net

Everybody loved May. I was always glad to see her in Church at Brookwood Church (now Unity Church.) She was always encouraging to me and asked about my mom Rose and my brothers and sisters. And my dog too! And she knew all their names, what they’d been up to AND she remembered the cities where they live! May had a stellar personality and was a beautiful, impressive and smart woman. My heart goes out to her family and friends over the loss of this special, special person. God bless you May!

She was one amazing lady, and she always made you feel special. She love her grandkids and always got them my peanut butter. I will miss her. Prayers with the family, god bless all of you.
