The Rotonda Family,
My deepest regrets and sincere condolence to the Rotondo Family. You father taught me to play the accordion starting back in 1952 I was only 8 years old today 66. My name is Angelo Colasante currently living in California. My brothers call me from Columbus of the sadden news. They remember me climbing those steep steps at his N. High Street Facility. They said the accordion box was bigger then me. I had to use two hands to go up those steep steps. He was a great person and was very patience with me. I too graduate from Aquinas and Capital University along with my twin children. I played in his concerts at Mees Hall doing the band routine and solo songs. I bought a Black Accordion from him in 1954 for $954 dollars. I still have it and some say it is worth over $10,000. But, too me priceless. I still play it once in awhile and still remember your Father correcting me when I palyed the wrong note. He used to tell me you can't play this instrument like your Evis Presely. He could make his accordion talk. I often will tell him let me hear you play this song that I can't play the way you won't me to. He would always kindly oblige.
I would hope your Father didnot suffer from any long term illness.. To live a long life as he did 93 years, God Bless Him.
I could go on and on about your Father. He was a quality person and I had tremendous respect for him.
Please call me at 559-842-8260 to hear more about him.
With kindest regrets,
Angelo J. Colasante

Mike, Debbie, and Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of "Dad." I know how much you loved him. Your dedication to him was enviable. I appreciated hearing the many stories about "Dad" and how much he enjoyed life. Your memories of him will be precious and long lasting. Unfortunately, I will not be available to pay my respects Monday evening. But please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
