I didn't know Mike too well, but he was so respectful. He was kind, and had a loving heart. I had many classes with him in 5th grade. Every day he would walk into class with a beaming smile on his face. I am so sorry for your loss. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I didn't know mike well, but I had a class with him in sixth grade. I remember even if he wasn't done with his work, he would help other students catch up, even if it meant falling behind himself. He was a great kid. I'm very sorry for your loss.

We at Community Care Hospice offer our prayers for comfort at this time of tremendous loss. Michael made pillows for many of our patients, providing them with comfort and showing them that someone was thinking of them. What a precious gift from the heart! Steve, Michelle, Robbie & family. No words can ever ease the pain of this great loss. We all as you know are devasted. We so looked forward to seeing Steve and Mike at the Chiller Convention twice a year in April & October in N.J. When Stve first brought Mike there he was small enough for Steve to carry in his arms. I quickly fell in love with my youngest Movie Collectors World reader and often featured Steve & Mike in my articles. The years rolled past and our friendship grew and grew. Mike loved seeing our dogs and hanging out with us in our hotel room. Mike was a fabulous young man with loads of natural talent in everything he tried his hand at from sports to music and even monster movies. As i said a million times Steve & Michelle are the best parents that any child could hope for. I observed Steves interaction with Mike at Chiller for at least 7 or 8 years and Steve was "Father Extraordinaire". I am proud to know a man like Steve Watts. I know one thing Mike was my true & dear friend and that bond shined through every time he saw me and the feeling was mutual. I also feel like i lost a son. i will never forget Mike as long as i live. Steve. Michelle & Robbie...i love you all! God Rest Mikeys Soul...RIP my little friend. I Love You. Freddie

To Steve, Michelle and Robbie. There are no words at a time like this. I met Michael 5 years ago at Chiller and instantly liked him. Such a smart and outgoing boy. It has been an honor watching him grow into a strong young man. His special bond with his father was so easy to see and my time visiting with them at Chiller was one of the things I always looked forward to most. He always went right for the dogs and they were only too happy to oblige! Michael has such a warm and bright spirit, I know it will go on shining forever in the hearts of all that were fortunate enough to know him. I will miss him deeply, treasure every memory I have and always think of him fondly. I pray his family can find peace at this most difficult of times and I pray that he is now at peace as well. With my most heartfelt sympathies and deepest condolences.
