Dearest Shirley, and all of Michael's loved ones.
I am so sorry to have taken so long to send my heartfelt condolences to you. I have started and deleted several times. Even now, thinking of your pain and loss is bringing tears to my eyes. I know your pain.. Only Mother's who have 'been there' can really understand. Just know that I hold you close to my heart, Shirley. I am so thankful that you have so many who love you so much and will always be there for you and for Regan too. And how honored Michael was to have so many there to say their farewells! I know how proud that made you!

The Beres and West Family. I was driving when I got the call of Michael's passing. It took my breath away and I had to pull over. This shook me deeply so I can not imagine the emptiness this has put into your hearts. Michael holds a special place in my heart and always will. I have many good memories of Michael. He has touched so many lives in more ways than he or anyone could ever imagined. His fun, loving, energetic smile could light up anyone. He will be forever missed. Your family(s) are in my thoughts and prayers as well as his beautiful babygirl. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Shirley, I just received the news of your son's sudden homegoing. How sad we are for you and your family. I had just talked with you the day before, and so could not believe I was hearing it right when I received word of Michael's death.

So sad to hear the news. Mike was a wonderful guy. Friendly thoughtful and wound do anything for anyone. Not surprised at all to see he has so many friends. We had many great times with him.
