Miguel Rivadeneira Obituary

RIVADENEIRA Miguel Angel Rivadeneira, age 80, began the journey of life eternal on Wednesday, August 11, 2010. He was born on May 20, 1930 in Cordoba, Argentina to the late Carlos and Adela (Sylva) Rivadeneira. Miguel met and married Ana Povoli in Cordoba and together they owned and operated a family restaurant. In 1972 their family immigrated to the United States and made their home in Bexley. Miguel was a wonderful dad and found enjoyment in his family and especially in his grandchildren. He will be missed and remembered for the strong heritage he passed down to his family. Miguel is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ana; daughters, Monica (Karl) Paulson, Ana (John) Gantz, and Roxana (Shane) Levine; grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan, Jacob, and Luke Paulson, Evan, Erin, and Cameron Gantz; sisters, Rosa (Hugo) Juarez and Andrea (Piri) Gordillo; and brother, Jorge Rivadeneira; beloved brother-in-law, Benjamin (Nora) Povoli; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, August 15 at Grove City Church of the Nazarene, 4770 Hoover Rd. Pastor Owen Stotts officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the American Diabetes Association, 471 E. Broad St., Suite 1630, Columbus, Ohio 43215 or Grove City Church of the Nazarene, Missions.
