Myron Gifford Obituary

Gifford Myron L. Gifford. Myron would like to let you know "his work here is done". On June 19, 2017, surrounded by loved ones, he left this world to have a joyous reunion with his beloved, Annie. Prior to relocating, Myron as superintendent of Wee Bonnie Golf Course, was active in the Ohio Turf Grass Association as a board member and additionally serving as president in 1970. Those who knew him recognized him as a "do-er". He was affectionately referred to, in the family, as a "Border Collie," as he was always ready to eagerly accept another task. Myron was an accomplished wood worker, always creating splendid gifts for family, friends and especially his grandchildren. He exhibited the patience of Job as he spent countless hours instructing and sharing with others the joy of hitting a little white ball around a lush field of green. However, highest on Myron's priority list was his walk with the Lord. Could not think of more fitting words to describe this man. Myron and his birdie, Annie were blessed by the children God gave them; and many other children were blessed when God gave them Myron Annie. I am a better person for having known all of the Gifford family. As it is with Annie, Myron's empty seat in our Church will serve as a reminder that a good and faithful servant of the Lord Jesus is now praising Him in His glorious presence. My heart felt sympathies to the family, Myron will be deeply missed.
