Nancy Weber Obituary

WEBER Nancy D. Weber, age 66, of Marengo, died Thursday, December 22, 2005 at The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus. Born on November 19, 1939 in Columbus to the late Jack and Thelma (Gabbard) Culp. Nancy moved to the Marengo area in 1975 from Columbus and was formerly employed with SCI in Columbus. An active member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Mt. Vernon, her children and grandchildren were the joy of her life. She had a passion for roller skating, from meeting her husband and it continued through with her grandchildren. Described as an "awesome" cook, she was known for her homemade noodles, lasagna, and fried chicken. A creative seamstress as well, she made exceptional costumes for her grandchildren. Survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Norman E. Weber Sr.; children, Norman "Bo" Jr. (Violet), Michael (Jackie), Toni (Vern) Jordan, Daniel (Nancy A.), Mark Weber, and Tracie Weber, all of Marengo; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and brother, James (Myra) Culp of Columbus. Preceded in death by son Jack Thomas Weber on July 27, 1988. Friends may call Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at DeVORE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, SR 3 at 61, Sunbury, where service will be Tuesday 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Duane Kramer and Brother Don Mann officiating. Interment Marengo Cemetery. Memorial contributions to James Cancer Hospital, 300 W. 10th Ave., Suite 519, Columbus, OH 43210. Condolences may be expressed at www.snyderfuneralhomes.com.
