If Roses grow in Heaven, Lord please pick a bunch for me, Place them in my Mother's arms and tell her they're from me. Tell her I love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile. Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day, but there's an ache within my heart that will never go away.

Patty, We weren't really close, but we loved each other. Mickey would always say that you asked about me, and I asked about you. I remember you being here after my mom died and asked if you could have a little something of hers for a keepsake, I gladly came in and got something. I'm sorry we didn't make it to your funeral, I really planned on going, I really did, but things just didn't work out. I know your eyes were going bad, but I miss the Christmas cards from you. Someday, I hope to see you again my dear cousin. Until then, remember that I love you. Belva.

It broke our hearts to lose you
You did not go alone
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home
In life we loved you dearly
Your love is still our guide
And though we cannot see you
You are always at our side
Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again.

I used to love to sit with you in the phone room. Listening to your stories about your life expeiences as a good Christian woman. I know God is taking better care of you than any of us ever could. When I think of the word, "Sister", the word love comes into mind. When I think of my sister, I think of the angel that I knew for the 58 of her 70 year life span. She was always there when I needed to talk to her. Before we said good-bye, she and I would always hug abd kiss each other like a loving family should always do. The last words we would say before departing was always, I Love You! which in this day and age is never said enough by families to one another. My Sister is now a citizen of God's Celestial city known as Heaven, the reward of the devoted christian life she lived. Before her departure from this life, I hope she heard me when I said to her, "Sis, I Love You." I always will and will always miss you until we meet again, "Just Inside The Eastern Gate

I awake each morning to start a new day
But the pain of loosing you never goes away
I go about the things I have to do
And as the hours pass I think again of you
I want to call you and just hear your voice
Then I remember that I have no choice
For you are not there and now my heart cries
Just to see you again to tell you goodbye
To say Mommy I love you and I always will
And hope that much of you, in me you've instilled
The day that you left I just didn't know
That you were going where I couldn't go
And now all my memories of you are so dear
But gosh, how I miss you and wish you were here
Someday I know all will be well
And I'll see you again with stories to tell
Of how you were missed and how we have grown
And how good it is to finally be home
Until then my memories of you I'll keep near
And I'll pass them on to those who are dear
I love and miss you

Mom loved us from our first breath, held our hands through the years, guided us along the paths that our lives took, taught us that there is nothing we can't make it through to hold our faith and follow our hearts. She gave us her all and asked nothing in return.

She gave us all the stepping stones in life to become the people we are today, and through it all she stood proud of us all. Her family, children, and grandchildren) meant everything in the world to her

It was very hard on us to let her go physically, but we carry her with us each and everyday in our hearts and our thoughts. The sun rising will remind us of the warmth of her love. Flowers blooming will remind us of her love for life. Our trials and tribulations will remind us of how strong willed she was. There's a part of her in each and every person that reads this and we can all be so honored that she was a part of our lives.

We will always love you mom, and grandmother. We will carry you with us each day in our hearts. We will mourn our loss but rejoice that you are in a better place sitting with your mother and loved ones, awaiting our arrival Someday day. Always Loved & Forever Missed...Hugs & Kisses to you Mom!!

BARB. CHARLES

June 28, 2009

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
