Patrick Lytle Obituary

LYTLE Patrick Lytle, age 70, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2012, at his residence with his dear friends at his side. He was born on July 16, 1941, in Hillsboro, Ohio, the son of Floyd Lytle and Elsie (McGown) Pallone. He received his undergraduate degree from Wilmington College and earned his master's degree from Kent State University. After receiving his graduate degree he was a history professor at Kent State for several years until his career with the State of Ohio Department of Insurance from which he retired after many years of dedicated service. Pat had a passion for politics, history, classical music, fireside chats with his Scotch and cigarette in hand and splendid dinner parties. Pat is survived by his brother, Mick of Marion, Ohio; and his brother, Jim Pallone of New Mexico. He is also survived by a host of many dear friends. Graveside services for Pat will be held on Monday, January 16, 2012 at the Cambridge Northwood Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat's name are preferred to the Bexley Public Library, 2411 East Main Street, Bexley, Ohio 43209.

Pat, you will be missed greatly. I always enjoyed are chats by the fire with a nice cocktail. I hope your friends appreciated you as much as I did. We will always have our laughs and memories that I will cherish.
