Dear family of "Dr. Pat",
You may recall "Dr. and Mrs. Pat", as we affectionately referred to them, had neighbors across the street for a relatively short 1 1/2 years. Even after we moved overseas to London, my wife, Jamie, and I would pop in to see them (usually around cocktail hour) when we would return to visit family. It was always so uplifting to be around them, even after Mrs. Pat's stroke. Dr. Pat was clearly lost without his beloved wife and I was saddened but not particularly shocked to learn of his recent passing. I want you to know Jamie and I will always be grateful for the kindness they showed our family.
With best wishes for your family,
Doug MacLean

Dear family of Uncle Pat,
We were just talking about your Dad last week to invite him to a Moore family gathering in August. So we were quite surprised to get the email about his death.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this time.

Moore Family, I really liked your Dad (and Mom). What a truly unique person. Always a smile, so willing to listen and make people feel good. The world is certainly a much better place because he was in it. His memory and influence will stay with all of us. My thoughts are with you all.

Dear Moore Family
What a great man! I am so thankful that I got to know Patrick. Loved hearing stories from Pat and Norm about Mayo Clinic and Ohio Heart. He has a wonderful family. Know you will miss him. I am sorry for your loss and also sorry that there was only one seat left on the plane to Columbus. Norm will be there for both of us. Patrick will be in our prayers. We will always remember him.
Marie Baker.

Dr. Moore and I met over 30 years ago, when I first came to Columbus to join Ohio Heart. During our years at Mount Carmel, we cared for thousands of patients together. He was my loyal friend, role model, and hero. We will miss him.
