Patsy Florence Gwilym

GWILYM Patsy Florence Gwilym, age 56, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 22, 2010. She was born in McAlester, OK, on June 14, 1954, and was a graduate of Miami Trace High School in Washington Courthouse. Pat also graduated from Central State University, where she served in the Army ROTC. Pat has worked for the last 10 years for The Limited Brands. She loved flowers and gardening, and she greatly enjoyed sewing, painting, and photography. She was an avid reader, and she loved the outdoors. Pat is survived by her husband, Paul Gwilym; daughter, Talya Mercedes (Mark) Scott; mother, Georgia Schafer; sister-in-law, Tammy Gwilym; cousin, Joy Taylor; good friends, Debbie Shaffer and Denise Martin; and her beloved cats, Tiny, Sagwa, and Hercules. She was preceded in death by her father, Victor Gibson. Family will receive friends from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28, at the SCHOEDINGER LINDEN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 2741 Cleveland Ave. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with Celebrant Andrew Hoover officiating.
