Paul Beaver Obituary

BEAVER Paul Allen Beaver, age 71, of Reynoldsburg, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Paul was a man of his word, a friend you could count on, and a man who loved God and the life He gave him. His six grandchildren were his pride and joy. He attended Jersey Baptist Church and was a member of The Reynoldsburg Senior Center after retiring from Honda East. He enjoyed playing cards, loved the Buckeyes, and enjoyed being with his friends, Gary Carter, Garland Carter, Ray Lamb, and Tom Sauls. Paul was loved by many. Preceded in death by his parents Stanford Houck Beaver and Dorothy Beaver Clagg and brother John Beaver. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 49 years, Beverly; son, Terry (Jennifer) Beaver; daughter, Lisa (Greg) Chittenden; grandchildren, Brynlin Beaver, Blake Beaver, Samantha Beaver, Nicholas Chittenden, Mackenzie Chittenden, and Gracyn Chittenden; sister, Janet (David) Hively; brothers, David (Sherry) Beaver, Tom (Shirley) Beaver, Stephen (Carol) Beaver. His family will receive friends Thursday, August 23 from 5-8 p.m. at Jersey Baptist Church, 13260 Morse Road, Pataskala, where his service will be held Friday at 11 a.m., his interment will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate. In lieu of flowers, anyone who chooses may send a contribution to Odyssey Hospice, 540 Officenter Place, Suite 100, Gahanna, Ohio 43230 or The Zangmeister Center, 3100 Plaza Properties Blvd., Columbus, Ohio 43219. Our condolences are with your family. Paul was a wonderful man. He had a long battle with cancer and now Matt knows what he endured over the years and for that he is a hero in our eyes.
