Paul D. Ewald, age 48 of Grove City, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017. Paul was born in Oklahoma City, OK and graduated from U.S. Grant High School in Oklahoma City, OK. Paul's life revolved around his family, especially being a great dad. He did everything he could to be active in and support his sons' pastimes including volunteering at their schools, which earned him the Helping Hands Award from the Ohio Department of Education; coaching basketball and baseball for Grove City Parks & Recreation; and more recently, a Grove City Little League team. Paul loved attending the boys' games and meets as well as family trips to California and Disneyland. Paul was an avid sports fan, being from Oklahoma, he continued to cheer on the O.U. Sooners. He is preceded in death by his father Marshall Ewald. Paul is survived by his best friend and wife of 25 years Heather; sons Connor and Daniel; mother Nancy Ewald of Edmond, OK; sister Janice (Jon) Ewald Hannah of Edmond, OK; brothers Eddie (Cindy) of Ventura, CA and Richard (Custodia) of Edmond OK.; father-in-law Lyle (Diana) Nageotte; mother-in-law Diane (Paul) Messina; brother-in-law Greg (Lori) Nageotte; sister-in-law Anne (Brian) Ratcliff; and many nieces and nephews. Paul's family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Schoedinger Grove City Chapel 3920 Broadway Grove City where the funeral service will be held 10 AM Thursday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Paul's memory to the Heart Foundation www.theheartfoundation.org Visit www.schoedinger.com to share a favorite memory of Paul.

We are so shocked to learn of Paul's passing! Seems we're all way too young for any of this to start happening yet, and he was! Very sorry...
