Paul was such a special man. A true gentleman, a teacher and a mentor to many. I was privileged to have him as my glider flight instructor. He was so generous with his time and his talents. He will be greatly missed.

Psalm 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years.
May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.

Hello everyone who knew Paul knew an individual with unique qualities and I was fortunate enough to know Paul when I was a boy growing up in Ohio. My father was Mark A.Savage and he and Paul helped found the Central Ohio Soaring Association. I spent many a boring day going to the glider club near Cincinnati, then the Columbus Air Park on the west side of Columbus, Ohio, and finally to the Marion Airport in Marion and Paul was a key person in my youth. Finally I became old enough to take flying lessons. I soloed when I was 15 or 16 years old and Paul was a wonderful role model for me. I flew with him when I was very young and soon got my private pilots license and over the years I got my instructor's liscense. His influence on me was tremendous and when I was old enough I joined the USAF, got a commission and spent 20 years in the military. I appreciate all Paul did to help me grow up and live a good life. I was fortunate enough to see Paul not too long ago and I am grateful for the chance to see him and visit with him. I will miss you greatly Paul!

It was an honor to know Paul as a friend, a fellow engineer at Denison, and as a fellow Baltimore/Thurston resident. I will miss his stories about his flying adventures and he will be missed by all.
Paul was always teaching & inspiring.

I will never forget Paul inviting Linda & I along for a trip in his beloved Mooney to the EAA Fly-In at Oshkosh back in 1980. He introduced me to an aviation world that I was not aware of. After we parked I recall observing (for hours!) a never ending line up of all types of aircraft landing on Runway 27. We camped out under the wing of 2713W that night. Paul was such a major part of the glue that made COSA the great club it is. All of our lives are richer because of him.

Mary and Nell, you all lived next to us on Martin Road in the late 50's and early 60's. I remember your dad's ham radio call letters - W8UGG. He invited me in to his ham room and I listened to him to talk to people around the world. He also took me flying once and my brother, dad and I helped him raise his ham tower in the back yard. I send my condolences and hope your memories of your dad will comfort you. In addition, I have not forgotten your mom. Louise was a woman fun of kindness and grace.
Peace be with you.

Paul was a gentle, kind soul. We are so grateful to him for loving my Aunt Janet as he did and bringing so much good to her life, as she did to his. A picture of my husband and my aunt's husband, Paul, during our visit to Ohio. We had so much fun with them.

Paul Wolfe was certainly among the top engineers of Denison Hydraulics with the likes of Cecil Adams, Ellis Born, and so many other fine inventive people. He was a quiet professional whom all could count on for great guidance in his knowledge and experience. I am so happy to have been an associate at Denison with my well-respected friend, Paul Wolfe. God can welcome a wonderfully created human being into His heavenly presence.

Paul was a great person to interact with, and helped teach me a lot about hydraulics when we worked together at Denison. He will be missed.
Another loving picture!

He was so much more than a grandpa to me. Like Mallory McCorkle said, he was a father figure that both she and I respected and looked up to as such. He was so wise and always willing to give the best logical advice when asked. He added so much pep to life. I'll never forget when I went flying with him and this 70+ year old man was so calm and cool trusting the wind to guide our journey, meanwhile I was a nervous wreck. He was always there for anyone who needed him and would help in any way possible. Most importantly, he loved my grandma so deeply. I can only speak about my grandma as I didn't know him prior to their relationship, but it was so wonderful to see her so loved (by a companion) again, though in a different way. He brought so much happiness and adventure into her life and I think she may have added a bit of spice to his too. RIH Paul. You are finally at peace and able to enjoy all the chocolate you want now. We love you and will miss you so much every day. ❤

I could share so many memories but it would take up pages and pages to share them. He touched us all and so many different ways. He was inspirational in getting me to fly gliders and powered aircraft.I always admired his courage and honesty and everything that he did. He stood with a gentle giant of a man and there are not that many around anymore. My family will miss him, his candor, his humor, and his wisdom in all things, he will definitely be missed.God bless you all in this time of need. Paul was a blessing to everyone that knew him. We loved him as a father and the same love was returned. The beauty of always seeing him as a devoted and loving husband to my Mom brought nothing but joy to our lives. Paul was the closest thing to an angel here on Earth. He has and will always hold a special love in our hearts! I know that we now have another guardian angel. I'm sure that he and my Dad have met in Heaven, and that my Dad shook his hand or hugged him in thanks for loving my Mom with all his heart. Our family already misses him beyond the expression of words.❤❤
