Raymond Walters Obituary

WALTERS Raymond F. Walters, age 75, of Pickerington passed away Friday, February 13, 2009 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. He was retired from RCA/ Thompson Consumer Electronics in Circleville and Blacklick Woods Golf Course. Member of Brookwood Presbyterian Church, an avid golfer, and a United States Navy Korean Conflict veteran. Ray is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Janet; daughter, Susan Walters of Pickerington; son, Steven (Michael Ann) Walters of Blacklick; Sharon (Jim) Miller of Bethel, Ohio; grandchildren, David, Jeff, Amy, Andrea, Rindi, Laura, Kyle, Julie and Christine; great grandchildren, Austin, Courtney K., Brett, Chad, Alexander, Courtney L., Alyssa, and Kylie; brother-in-law, William (Linda) Drum of Grove City; and sister-in-law, Barbara (Mike) Drayer of Michigan; also his dear friend, Terri Walters. He was preceded in death by his parents John Thomas and Harriett Agnes Mincher Walters, brothers John and George and sister Dorthea Walters, brother-in-law Paul Drum. Friends may visit Monday 6-8 p.m. at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Road North, Pickerington, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, with Rev. Jeff Myers officiating.
