We stayed in touch and kept our friendship intact with annual birthday lunches, occasional conversations and most recently a Christmas holiday dinner with my wife and some friends at our home. Unfortunately, I thought such visits would continue for many years into the future. She is sadly missed.

I was so shocked to hear this tragic news. I hadn't seen Dee much over the years. But when I was in town to visit my Mother (who lived across the street) I would always get a wave and a kind smile. What a lovely woman. I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dee was there for me and my siblings when we were growing up and we will miss her dearly.

I cherish the memories of growing up with Dee. From ironing our hair(mine was poker straight to begin with), to spending countless hours talking in our bedrooms, walking down to Pitt's, we had such a great friendship. Although, through the years, life took us in different directions, we've kept in touch through Christmas cards. I wish I could be there. Please know I am there in heart and love. To all, I love you.

Dee will be greatly missed by a lot of co-workers. Her low key pace sent a message of confidence to a lot of people, myself in case, she made me feel that I was doing it right.
