I never met "Paisan" but was entertained many afternoon watching him serve as a sidekick for Gene Fullen on "Gene's Canteen." He provided a lot of fun to the afternoon after school program.
It would be nice to have such programs now.

You filled the room with your presence wherever you walked.Your kind spirit and sense of humor were gigantic.You impacted so many with your "Joy for Living". You and Jan completed each other and set such a good example,as partners together, for all to emulate.

The second Dick would see me or Casey walk into a room, it was all over. He would come after us in the most humorous way. You almost wanted to duck. The thing is, that like everyone else, Dick loved us. Plus, he knew we could take his humor. Often times I would laugh so hard I would hurt. I spent a lot of time, yesterday, laughing and crying. I loved Dick DePalma! I/we will miss him very much!

I will always remember the time we spent together, lunch, Professional Pilots Association (PPA) meetings. Lake Erie boating and fishing. Visits to Cape Coral, FL and our fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. I will miss Dick and his quick wit. Your friend, Bob Stream.

Dick was a great friend for many years. We had so many good times together ever since we lived next door to him in Grandview. He is also my son Matthew's Godfather. RIP Dick, we will always remember you!

There are friends and then there are true friends. From his days at B-Goodmans we became true "Paisans". A fellow Italian who always remembered his roots and would help anyone who needed his connections. God knows, he knew everybody. Until we meet again my friend, start planning the party.
