Bob Bennett is a legend in the Ohio Political arena and on the national level he was "Ohio". His decades of excellence and service to the Party and community will be the standard everyone else will be judged by and few, if any, will ever attain such prominence.
I will miss dearly my friend and mentor. Whether holding fundraisers for my candidates, watching The Buckeyes or attending the July 4th fireworks at his and Ruth Ann's beautiful home, Bob was always ready and willing to help me any way he could.
He was a great Party Chairman and an even better man.
May God bless and comfort Bob and Rose and all the nephews, neices and extended family members.

Bobby and Rosie,
You are in our thoughts and prayers. We and our children have spent the last two days remembering the fun we shared in Strongville, Canada, and Easters in Glen Ellen and Naperville. If you were with the Bennetts you were going to have fun. Hope we can share these memories with you in person some day soon.
You were and are both great kids. Your have always been there for your parents as they were for you. A great team!
We're sorry we can't be there to celebrate your Dad's life because it certainly is a life to celebrate.
Love you both,
Matt, Beth, Matt Jr., Patsy and Molly

A truly great humanitarian. Even as a life long Democrat I admired and respect Bob. He appealed to the best in people. He respected those who disagreed with him. this nation needs more people like him involved in politics. He was there when my father George died in 1993. He was there when my sister Ann died in 1977. And he called me when my wife Ann died 5 years ago. What a great human being.

Bob was a fabulous politician who deserves many accolades for his professional accomplishments, but he was so much more. He was a gentle man, a gentleman, kind and always helpful. He treated everyone with respect and was a good and loyal friend. He will be missed by the many of us he touched. God speed.

My prayers and sincere sympathies go out to Mr. Bennett's family. I met Mr. Bennett when I worked at ORP as Ex. Secty of the Ohio Federation of Republican Women. Man of vision and great integrity. He will of course, be sorely missed.

Bob helped the Lake Erie Heritage Foundation in so many ways over the years I can't begin to describe the impact . Always willing to help, provide insight, guidance and thoughtful direction. A man of conviction, spirit, laughter, and sound advice. We will miss him dearly.

We were from different political parties and shared a love for politics but always remained friends. Bob believed politics is an honorable profession and he made it honorable by his presence. I will miss his laughter and his friendship.

Bob was my good friend for over 40 years. Spending time in his hot tub. Hanging out with him was always an experience. His recommendation for me to the Ohio Industrial Commission displayed his consummate loyalty. He will be greatly missed.

Our prayers and sincere sympathy to the Bennett Family for the passing of Bob. A great picture of him depicting his strong jovial personality. Jim & Bob were first cousins and when they first moved to Cleveland, they stayed with Joe & Carol Weiland. Now he and Ruth Ann are reunited in their eternal resting place. May they rest in the peace of God. Love to all.
