Robert Biggs Obituary
Robert L. Biggs, 79, died at home Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, surrounded by family. Preceded in death by parents Julius and Sadie Biggs. Survived by wife of 43 years, Mirka Biggs; son, John Biggs; daughter, Regina Bray; grandchildren, Evelyn, Lilly, Milla, Jacob, Guthrie, and Kasper. Long time employee of DCSC. Active in the Polish American Club. The family will receive friends Friday, Jan. 5, from 5-8 p.m. at Schoedinger Northwest, 1740 Zollinger Rd., Upper Arlington 43221. Mass of Christian Burial 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, St. Michael Church, 5692 N. High St., Worthington. Entombment Monday, Jan. 8, Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling, W.Va. We will miss Bob greatly. In 2013 Mirka and Bob welcomed us to Columbus sharing their time, Mirka's delicious dinners, Bob's sense of humor, and his vast knowledge of history, politics, and music. From singing songs, to playing the harmonica, to reciting poems, to accompanying our choir in all its travels far and close for as long as his health allowed Bob was a great friend. Rest In Peace Bob.
