I've known Bob since he started attending Meadow Park Church. During that brief time I came to know what a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather he was. I also knew Bob that had a very deep and loving relationship with Jesus Christ. I will greatly miss our weekly coffee time and discussions. Bob you are greatly missed and loved.

Cousin Bob Brown was Vina Milburn's first cousin. We can say unequivocally, he was an awesome man. Nancy and Bob liked to video chat in recent years, Nancy from CA and he from his man cave in Columbus. The chats didn't happen often, but when they did a lot of ground was covered! Vina always says Bob was tight-lipped. She meant he didn't share information to stir up drama or to gossip. That was true and admirable. He was the opposite of a busy body. Nor was he a complainer about his own issues. But on those video chats Nancy and Bob could talk more than an hour with never a lull in the conversation. He was funny, insightful, and interesting. Sometimes we called him Bobby B, recalling his vanity license plate on his cars. That man loved his cars. There was a time when he also loved his bowling. A favorite story about Bob goes back to 1977 when an Aunt died in Mansfield. It was Vina's aunt also, and when she tried to coordinate riding to the funeral with Bob, he couldn't go so she had to take a bus from Columbus. This Aunt had a reputation for being a little hard to be around. Cousin Bob had a bowling tournament the same day as the funeral. The thought crossed our mind at the time that maybe Cousin Bob had his priorities in order! Bob was a gentleman, a patriot, a counselor, a father, a husband and friend to us all and he did everything with love, enthusiasm and compassion. We are going to miss his wit, his caring concern, his genuine interest in us and our children, his fierce independence, his strong work ethic, and his zest for life. We will miss Cousin Bob. Our love goes out to his wife, Katherine and their six children.

Bob was my first cousin. We grew up together and stayed in regular contact with phone calls our entire lives, especially after my move to CA in 1989. He knew how to make me laugh. He called himself my cousin in O-H. The phone call always began with, Hello, Cuz! He and Katherine stood by me and helped me unselfishly in a challenging time in my life and I am forever grateful. We had many fun family gatherings with Katherine's good food, card games and lots of chatter and retold family stories. My condolences on his loss go out to the family, especially to Katherine and their children. I will miss my Cousin Bob.
