-Your life was a blessing. Your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.- Dr. Robert Addison Bruce, Jr., age 70, of Bonita Springs, Florida, formerly of Columbus, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2018. The family of Dr. Robert A. Bruce Jr. MD welcomes friends and colleagues to gather on June 16, 2018 from 4-6 p.m. to share memories and celebrate a life well lived. Please join us at the Columbus Country Club, 4381 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43213, as we remember the good times and come together to find comfort in our loss.

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Bruce from 1987--2000 at the Grant Eye and Ear PACU, Not only was he an excellent surgeon but a good friend with a great sense of humor and generosity. So very sad to hear of his passing.

My deepest sympathies to Dr. Bruce's family and friends. I was a client of his in the early 90's and was blessed to have his expertise and skill in my corner when my eyes began to fail me. I have no doubt he saved my vision and my career. And most importantly, Dr. Bruce was a very kind and caring gentleman who showed great compassion for me and my wife. She was naturally so concerned for my welfare, and Doc was so reassuring and comforting for both of us. He was a blessing in our lives. May you all find peace at this time of loss.

I'm so sorry to hear of Dr. Bruce's passing. I had the pleasure of working for him some years ago at The Retina Group and he was always so pleasant and kind. He was excellent at his craft and very well-respected by all of his patients and colleagues. Sending my sincerest condolences to his family and loved ones.
