Robert H. Ebright

EBRIGHT Robert H. Ebright, age 77, of Gahanna, Ohio went to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at Kobacker House. He was a resident of The Worthington. Born June 8, 1929 in Columbus to the late Zaner and Elma (Hamilton) Ebright, he was a graduate of Bexley High School. He retired from ODOT and was a member of the Northeast Kiwanis, the Moose Lodge, the Board of Realtors and the Singing Buckeyes. Robert had a great sense of humor and loved to sing and strum on his banjo. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by children, Kim Ebright, Tina (Wayne) Hendrix and Lori Ebright; their mother, Nancy Ebright; grandchildren, Brandy (Brent) Hanger, Mandy (Phil) Jones, Jessica Hendrix, Kali Sanders and Kolton Ebright; sister, Jean Elin; nieces and nephew, Mike (Karen) Elin, Jenny Elin and Christy (Scott) Rogers; and good friend, Kate Smith. Friends may visit 9-11 a.m. Friday, September 1, at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1015 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, where service will begin at 11 a.m., Pastor Ron Lockhorst, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 870 Michigan Ave., Columbus, Oh. 43215 or Kobacker House (c/o HomeReach Hospice), 3595 Olentangy River Rd., Columbus, Oh. 43214 in his memory. Graveside service 10 a.m. Saturday, September 2, at Green Lawn Cemetery.
