Such a wonderful friend to my father and me. After my father passed, Bob sent me a Christmas card as if it were from my father. How special--I still have it. Tells you a lot about this man. Will also miss his thought provoking emails as well. Bob, you will truly be missed by all who knew you. Bob, Jr., take care and keep in touch

Bob, I just realized that you Dad was the same age as my Mom when he went to heaven. It has been 5 years and every Sunday I think of her and want to pick up the phone and call. She always cheered me and I know your Dad was the same. Through his devotion and fatherly love, I began to know him and suffered right along with him as he cared for you. And he did care for you and reading his notes at the end of nearly every day, I could feel that love. He is with you today and every day, guarding you through the rest of your life. Enjoy the memories and when you pray, he will be listening. God bless you and your family as you will miss him, especially on holidays, birthdays, Father's day and celebrate him even more.
Love, Barbara & Don

Dad , i don't even know where to begin . I know you are gone but you will never be gone from my side . I loved you as much as a son could love his Father . I didn't realize how bad you were suffering towards the end . You put up a good front . Typical you . You didnt want me to worry . That was what you were about . Always putting yourself last and everyone else first. I will Never forget all the good times we had together ; the countless golf , cruises, trip to Bermuda , playing darts , etc..... I cherish your life and the life you provided for me . Please look in on me from time to time . I miss you so much. Dora loved you more than you know and misses her Ogie.I know there are a lot of people in Heaven who missed you and are glad to see you . It's their time now to enjoy your personality. My time will come again someday. Love ya . Enjoy your peace . Your Son , Steve

You always had a smile when I saw you. It was my pleasure to know you. You were my contact person when Bob Jr was hospitalized. I'm so glad he had you helping him then. You are free from sickness now but I know your family will miss you very much and so will I.

He was a great guy...always reminding me that I wanted "Bob Jr" and not "Bob Sr" when I would call the house & thought I was talking to Bob Jr. LOL. But I mostly remember his devotion to his son, Bob, my friend, during his long hospitalization a few years back. He was at the hospital constantly, by Bob's bedside, and kept in contact with me to let me know when a good time to fly down to visit him would be. He was a caring gentle soul who knew a lot about life. His family, though, meant everything to him. He lived well.

Sincere sympathies to your family. A parent's most coveted legacy is to see their children grow and flourish and lead productive lives. He set the bar and you followed it; he is now at peace, taken with him the love and honor you showed him.

I called you 'handsome' - you called me 'baby.' You were the most fun Uncle a girl could ask for! You stood up for me but didn't fail to give me sound advice when needed. My memories of visiting Nana at a young age are taking a walk around the circle, pushing Bobby's stroller. You told me you always found money on the ground and to keep my eyes open. Lo' and behold, we found many coins that day. Of course, as I grew up, it dawned on my that you were throwing the coins ahead of us to find - and I was oblivious. You had the most wonderful smile and laugh. You had a heart that was bigger than anyone's and you always had time for me. I love you, Uncle Bob. I know you're at peace. I know you're no longer struggling. And I know you're in heaven watching over all of us. When God took you home He left an empty spot in our hearts. We shall see you again one day. RIP my HANDSOME Unc!!! Love, Holli

Dad I cannot really believe you are gone. I miss you deeply and I pray to you every day. Talking to you asking for your guidance, wisdom and many more things. I know you hear me there in heaven - I can feel it. You will be in my broken heart forever, and I know you will never leave my side. We were partners-in- crime and you were my best friend. All of my always and forever, your son and your namesake Bob Garton, Jr.
