Dear Shirley,
I learned from Linda Bice Adams today of Bob's passing on Memorial Day. I'm sorry for your loss of your husband.
I have fond memories of you and Bob during my years working at Terminal Freight. His garlic soup was terrific and those crazy hot hot peppers he'd bring to work were dangerous! In my head I can still hear both of your Chicago accents and the laughs that came so easily. Good, bad or indifferent (mostly good) you are both memorable to a lot of good people.
None of us knows when we or our spouse will leave this earth and when it happens the void is overwhelming. Time and family will comfort you through your grief and one day solace will come back to you. Bob's journey is done, may yours be filled with the love of your family and friends. I will think of you.
