Robert Emerson LeBeau III

Robert LeBeau Obituary

LeBeau Robert Emerson LeBeau III, age 42, passed away suddenly Wednesday, August 7, 2013. Bobby was born August 2, 1971 in Columbus, Ohio to Robert and Sue LeBeau. He graduated from London High School in London, Ohio in 1990 where he participated in the band, drama club and played on the golf team. Bobby faced the constant battle of a life with schizophrenia, but thanks to his doctors' treatment, the love and support of family and friends, and, most especially, the incredible daily care of his devoted mother, he was able to enjoy a happy life. He loved special times with family and friends. His favorite activities were attending Pittsburgh Steeler football games, Ohio State University football and basketball games, and high school football and basketball games. He followed the University of Oregon and Oregon State sports teams and enjoyed watching professional golf. In addition, Bobby treasured road trips with his parents, Rush concerts with his brother, fantasy football in the family league, and countless hours playing Scrabble. He looked forward every day to his walk and his mother's cooking. Preceded in death by grandparents Robert and Beulah LeBeau and Louis and Martha Eckle, aunt Nancy Golden, aunt Phyllis LeBeau and cousin Lisa Kay LeBeau. Survived by parents, Robert and Sue LeBeau; brothers, (Ronald) Scott LeBeau, Todd (Donna) LeBeau; sisters, Robin (James) Shumate, and Michelle (Kevin) Prenger; uncles, C. Richard (Nancy) LeBeau, Hugh (Nancy) Eckle, Frank Golden (Maxine); and aunt, Criss (Lynn) Wehr; many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Bobby will be dearly missed. Friends are invited to call at the RADER-LYNCH AND DODDS FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE, 124 E. High St., London, Tuesday, 4-7 p.m. A funeral service will be celebrated at the First Presbyterian Church, 211 Garfield Ave., London, Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., with the Reverend Gordon Johnson officiating. Bobby will lie in state at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bobby's memory to Columbus Area Integrated Health Services Inc., 1515 E. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43205. Sue i am terribly sorry for you and your families loss. Bobby was a great guy, and one that I was always honored and proud to call a friend. I knew Bobby for 36 years, he was the first friend i ever had, and the world will be less without him in it.

Sue, Randy and I are so sorry to read of Bobby's death. We just saw him taking one of his walks around Grove City a week or so ago. Will miss seeing him around Grove City or in the stores.

Mr. and Mrs. LeBeau, I am so sorry for your loss. This is such a beautiful tribute to Bobby's life and to the devoted bond he shared with both of you. I don't think there could be anything more heartbreaking than losing a child, even as an adult. You will be in my thoughts and prayers everyday and I hope that time will fill the empty space in your hearts with the comfort of warm memories.
With love,
Jamie Kimmel Eifert
