Robert H. Ray

RAY (Schwab) Robert H. Ray, 91, April 7, 1920, went to be with the Lord on November 9, 2011, surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his wife Elma (Uhrig), his parents Russell and Marie Ray, brother Jack, sisters Eileen and Peg. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Bob Schwab; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Peg Ray; sister, Marilyn Flesher; granddaughter, Cindy Myers; grandson and his wife, Tim and Teresa Schwab; great-grand-children, Leah McClaskey, Holly Myers, Elizabeth, Lauryn, Ben Schwab; great-great-grandchildren, Addie, Michalynn, Tristan McClaskey; and special person he loved like a son, Ron Landis. Bob loved all of them very much. Bob will be missed by all of us. He was a very loving and generous man. Heaven just gained a great man. Thanks to all the people at SUNRISE OF WORTHINGTON and Osman who took good care of him every day and Heartland Hospice, especially Ann Allenstein who took such great care of him and loved him. Family will receive friends at the SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOMES NORTH CHAPEL, 4341 N. High St. (1 block south of Henderson), Sunday, November 13 from 4-7 p.m. Funeral service will be held Monday 10 a.m. with visitation starting at 9 a.m. at WESTERVILLE CHRISTIAN CHURCH, 471 E. College Ave., Westerville, Ohio 43081. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Westerville Christian Church in his name. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
