Robert E. "Bobby" Saint

Robert Saint Obituary

SAINT Robert E. "Bobby" Saint, 63, entertainer, fisherman and free spirit. Bobby left this Earth January 15, 2007, having touched many people with his music and his humor. Bobby Saint was born on the Hilltop, attended West High School and sang Doo-Wop on the corner of Broad and Hague. After a long and successful career as a professional singer, he pursued his other passion, fishing. An award winning Bass fisherman, Bobby served as captain of a fishing boat on Lake Erie. He is survived by sons, Nicholas and Christopher; and grandchildren, Marcus and Natalie. In lieu of a memorial service, a tribute show was staged by his many friends to honor Bobby on November 10, 2006 at American Legion Post #532. It was Bobby Saint's final performance. Arrangements entrusted to NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, Southwest Chapel. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerFamily.com.

I knew Bobby briefly through my beloved husband Tony Ward.

My Son-In-Law Skip Warren has spoken of him so often I feel I truly knew Bobby personally.

He was certainly loved by all who had the pleasure of being touched by him. Know that he is in a better place and will see Tony again.
