Robert "Kelly" Warrick, 53, of Groveport, died Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Grant Medical Center due to complications from the flu virus. He was born February 27, 1964 in Newark to Glenn and the late Caroline (Fields) Warrick. Kelly was a 1982 graduate of Newark High School. He graduated from the Ohio State School of Cosmetology in 1984. He worked for Saturdays Hair Salon as a stylist and manager for 34 years. God gave Kelly the gift of listening and relating to others and making people feel good about themselves. Kelly was a devoted father, son, brother and uncle and was a constant source of love and support. He was a kind, compassionate, gentle soul who was loved and respected by all who knew him. Kelly loved us all unconditionally - he was God's gift. Kelly's greatest joy was his beautiful daughter, Kalegh. He had a passion for rock and roll music; especially Alice Cooper. Kelly loved to attend concerts with his family and friends. He enjoyed relaxing and grilling on his deck with rock music blaring, watching movies, and cheering for the Buckeyes, Miami Dolphins, and Cincinnati Reds. Kelly's laugh and exuberance for life were contagious. Kelly touched everyone he met and he will be missed more than words can say. He is survived by his daughter, Kalegh Warrick of Columbus; father, Glenn Warrick of Newark; sister, Pam (Paul) Warrick-Schkolnik of Westerville; brother, Scott (Lisa) Warrick of Reynoldsburg; nephews, Brett, Michael, and Nicholas Warrick; niece, Caroline Warrick; numerous aunts, uncle, and cousins; and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Caroline Warrick. Visitation will be Saturday from 12-3 PM at the Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st Street, Newark, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 3 PM with Rev. Tim Ahrens officiating. I'm a recent customer of Kelly's but felt I knew him my entire life. He gave a great cut and color but more importantly you could tell he cared; that he loved life; that he loved his family and religiously made time to be with his daughter. He recently shared his future plans to drive his beautiful classic car to Nashville. He was a great man. My condolences to his beloved family.

We are so sad and shocked to hear about Kelly's passing. My husband and I have had our hair cut by Kelly for years. We always enjoyed talking to him about Ohio State football and the concerts he would go to. and how much he loved going to the movies with his daughter and how proud he was of her. Our Prayers and condolences go out to all his family. He will be deeply missed. RIP Kelly.

We were so very sorry to hear of Kelly's passing. Kelly cut mine and my wife's hair for over 15 years. He will be greatly missed by all. We loved his personality and friendship. Kelley cut my Mom's hair for 25 years and she followed him to mutiple locations. In the past year Kelley also cut my hair and my 6 year ood daughters- three generations! I always enjoyed chatting with him about what movies he had recently seen with his daughter, concerts, and his annual Halloween party. What a warm, wonderful man.

Being in need of a hairdresser, and learning from Lisa Warrick that her brother-in-law, Kelly, was a hairdresser, I immediately called him at Saturdays in Reynoldsburg. His enthusiasm over the phone led me to him. That was 17 years ago. Over these years he's been my preferred stylist. I will forever remember my experiences with him at Saturdays: his love and gift as a stylist and manager, talking about his favorite things in life (daughter, nephews, family, movies, grilling, Halloween parties, baseball, etc.), being a great listener, and his exceptional talent in his work. My condolences to his family. I will light a candle on his behalf. May God bless his soul forever.
