I'll still never forget the look on your face when Tim got on your bike! I think I looked much better on it, and I didn't break your springs! I'm glad I was there for Tim at the memorial service and helped him throughout the year's. I think of you every year on July 14th, and your birthday.

I know it's been so long, but tomorrow my daughter turns 1. And on Halloween my son turns 3. And sitting here and thinking of their future made me think about you. I was lucky to see you when I did. And loved you instantly. According to everyone I'm a lot like you. I have a few months left in my apprentiship before I'm a tattoo artist. I look at the tattoo you did in my leg and feel that you are proud of me. Anyway. I love you.

Tho I only met you once, your sparkle and orneriness in your eyes took me right away! Rest easy young man. Your family will see you again another day. Till then, just wait patiently.
Tim and Dottie and Lola, am so sorry for your loss. Rocky fought a battle for a long time and is finally resting from that labor. I cannot imagine what it is like to lose a child or brother but know that your pain will, as time goes by, be easier to maintain. The loss will always be there, but be comforted in knowing that you were so fortunate to have Rocky and to have known him these years past.

Dear Mrs. Dale, Tim & Lola,
Rocky was only in our family a short time. I remember when my sister brought him to my house the first time, I pulled her aside and said, "oh, my gosh where did you get him he's gorgeous!" We were all young but I can say Rocky and Tim were good guys and they had a sweet mother. I went to school with Lola too and always liked her. Our family feels a sense of loss too, we can only imagine how you feel. We lost touch early on but want to express our love and sympathy now.

We should never have to mourn the ones we love so instead I choose to remember Rocky the way I always think of him when I hear his name. I can still see Rocky as a kid, always smiling and a laughing.
