Ronald Firestone Obituary

FIRESTONE Ronald E. Firestone, age 69, of Dublin, Ohio passed away Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Kobacker House. A graduate of Bexley High School, Class of 1951 and The Ohio State University, School of Architecture, Class of 1955, Ron worked for the same architectural firm since he was 16 years old, which would ultimately become Firestone, Jaros, Mullin (FJM) Architects, Inc. He was a member of AIA, Downtown Rotary and a former member of Muirfield Village Golf Club. Preceded in death by his parents Charles and Marjorie Firestone. Ron is survived by his wife of 30 years, Suzzi Firestone; daughters, Tammy (Chuck) Hawk of Chicago, IL and Becky (David) Staub of Upper Arlington; step-sons, Christopher (Stacie) Cox of Marysville, OH, Daniel J. Cox of Orlando, FL and James R. (Lillian) Cox of Honolulu, HI; grandchildren, Taylor N. Staub, Cameron G. Staub, Charlie F. Hawk, Conner C. Hawk, Michael G. Cox, Samantha D. Cox and Matthew R. Cox. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME at POWELL, 450 West Olentangy St., Powell, OH 43065, (614)792-1471. (The funeral home is on W. Olentangy St./Powell Rd./SR 750, 1/4 mile east of Sawmill Parkway.) Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at St. Brigid of Kildare Church, 7179 Avery Rd., Dublin, OH 43016 with The Rev. Msgr. Joseph Hendricks and The Rev. Barry Bentz, officiating. Private family burial will be held at Kingwood Memorial Park, Lewis Center, OH. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to consider memorial contributions to: The John J.
