Roy Krespach Obituary

Krespach Roy Eugene "Gene" Krespach, age 81, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on February 26, 2016. Born November 29, 1934 in Norwalk, Ohio. Preceded in death by parents Roy and Sally Krespach and brother-in-law Kenneth Gill. Survived by loving wife of 34 years, Carol Krespach (Harwick/Scholl); sisters, Eunice Gill, Pat (Bill) Finley and Linda (Don) Lee; sons, Scott (Mary) Krespach of Indianapolis and Kelly Krespach of Columbus; step-children, Tammy (John) Davis, Karen (Paul) Blaskis and Tom (Beth) Scholl; grandchildren, Stephanie and Brian Krespach, Katie (Isaac) Oglesby, Mindy (Craig) Pottorf and Kelsea Blaskis; great-grandchildren, Jared Lance, Evan and Zakary Oglesby, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. He retired from Western Electric/Lucent after 35 years and was a member of the Whitehall VFW Post #8794, an avid reader and enjoyed working in his yard. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 5 from 4-8 p.m. at the VFW Hall, 4100 E. Main St., 43213. Memorial contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice, 655 Metro Place S., Suite 770, Dublin, Oh, 43017 or to the National Kidney Foundation, www.kidney.org.
