Ruby Phillips Obituary

Phillips Ruby Phillips passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, August 17, 2015 after a long illness. She worked in a Columbus hospital for many years. She was an avid swing dancer and enjoyed music from the 40's and 50's. She is survived by her brother, Douglas Bishop of Columbus; her son, Cecil Phillips of Chandler, AZ; and daughter-in-law, Joann Curry of Columbus; also her grandchildren, Michelle, Danny, Jr., Chris, Mindy, Jennifer, and Gary. She is preceded in death by her son Danny Phillips. Her graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Green Lawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Ave., Columbus, OH 43223. I would like to pass on my condolences to the Phillips family, especially her son Cecil, and her brother Doug. A special thanks to Christine for helping with some of the funeral arrangements such as getting her dress for her. I'm sure Ruby is at peace now and at home with our Heavenly Father.
