Ruby Ellen Spangler

SPANGLER Ruby Ellen (Pepon) Spangler, age 88, of Grove City, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Emeritus at Pinnacle. She was a member of Grove City United Methodist Church and a member of Beacon Chapter No. 593 OES. She graduated in 1942 from Hilliard High School. Ruby retired after 32 plus years from DCSC. She was a life member of DAV Auxiliary. A loving mother, grandmother great-grandmother, sister and aunt. Preceded in death by her husband Lester Spangler, parents John and Maddie Pepon and brother Harry Pepon. Survivors include her daughter, Linda (Dave) Wylie; grand-children, Eric (Kim) Wylie and Sherri (Brent) Schiff; great-grand-children Kala, Nik, Max, Ana and Emma; sister, Imogene Holt; special friend, Carl Green; Andy Donaldson known to him as "grandma"; several nieces and nephews and dear friends. Friends may visit on Monday from 5-7 p.m. with an Eastern Star Service at 7 p.m. at THE SPENCE-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 2697 Columbus St., Grove City, where funeral will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m., with Erma Clark officiating. The family would like to give thanks to the Odyssey Hospice staff and the staff at Emeritus at Pinnacle and special thanks to her girls for all their care.
