I have known Mr. Roberstson and his family for almost 40 years. He was a wonderful man and raised some wonderful children who have been a part of my life and memories for many years. I had the pleasure of seeing him and talking with him during his most recent stay at the Dayton Veterans Hospital where I am presently employed. He was a soldier who served his country honorably and with dignity during WWII. Decorated, dedicated, honorable, and with courage he served our nation. As a retired soldier (US Army)I salute him and thank him for his sacrifices for this country. On behalf of the United Staes Army, my family, and myself, I thank you and thank your family for men like Mr. Robertson. Quietly and with spiritual retincence I thank the soldiers like Mr. Robertson who preceded me in battle and have the highest regard for him and his service to our nation. For the family, be of good courage and weep not, for the journey of this soldier was a good one. May God keep and bless all of you. Duty, honor , country. He exemplified the qualities inherent in a good soldier and a good man.
