1923 - 2017
Ruth Irene Lucas, born Lang, 95 years young, was called home to be with our Lord on October 2, 2017.She was born to Harry R. and Irene B. Lang on Sept. 25, 1923 at Zanesville, Ohio as their first child. She was married to Forest C Lucas in June of 1941, they had four children and they moved to Columbus in 1950. Ruth was preceded in death by both parents, her husband, her sibling brothers Ralph E, Harry L, and William N C (Connie) Lang and one son Phillip L Lucas of Lake Charles, LA. Ruth is survived by three loving children, Forest C, Jr and wife, Cheryl, Sharon Drennan, and Paul L and wife, Glenda Jean Lucas; 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. There will be a Memorial Service held on the 14th of October at The Full Armor of God Church in Reynoldsburg, Ohio at 1 pm officiated by Pastor Rocky Brown. She was cremated and will be interred at Glen Rest Memorial Estates, in Reynoldsburg. In lieu of flowers, please donate to American Heart Association for Ruth Lucas.
